COVID-19 affected all of us in ways that no one foresaw. Seeing a need for mental health resources on campus, we used our macro practice class to develop and launch a support group to help combat mental health issues among students. This presentation aims to describe how we developed our group, gives examples of successful group activities, and suggests how this type of program can be facilitated on other college and university campuses.

COVID-19 affected all of us in ways that no one foresaw. It affected physical health. Also, quarantine combined with restrictions on socialization across the campus negatively impacted students' mental health. Seeing a need for mental health resources on Buena Vista University's campus, we used our macro practice class to develop and launch a support group to help combat mental health issues among students. This poster aims to describe how we developed our group, gives examples of successful group activities, and suggests how this can be done on other college and university campuses. Photos will be used to engage participants; a handout will also be provided.
