Notice as of May 13, 2026:
Communications about all aspects of our upcoming Symposium have been challenged by many circumstances out of our control and we ask for your patience as we continue to navigate these. Please know that we have two hard working teams pulling this Symposium together in a thoughtful, informative, and culturally significant way. We can’t wait to see you all in just a few weeks!
Our team in Puerto Rico is dealing with unexpected matters of great importance and impact for their students. For this reason, we do not yet have the final details of the Symposium, but we assure you that we will send them as soon as possible.
We look forward to seeing you in a few weeks!

The Power of Groups: Cultivating Hope, Acknowledging Fears and Taking Action
Group work is increasingly vital. Through group work we engage in building mutual understanding and respect while developing a sense of belonging in a world experiencing waves of negativity and hatred, causing rifts among individuals, groups and communities. Through group work we engage in collective action against injustice, hate, and fears by cultivating hope, understanding, and joy.
